The DDA Siri Fort Sport Complex is a sports stadium in New Delhi, India. The complex was built for the 1982 Asian Games, next to the Asian Games village by the Delhi Development Authority, which also runs the facility now. Also close by is the Siri Fort Auditorium complex
I just love love love the swimming pool here. The best thing about this swimming pool is that it is covered so you can go whenever you feel like going be it in the rains or even dry Harsh summers nothing is going to stop you except you going to the pool.
The pool is cleaned everyday and the levels of chlorine are kept on the mark.
The facility is only available to the members but you can go and check if they give you a per dip service also.
Pocket friendly- 5/5
A very good indoor swimming pool facility as part of Siri Fort Sports Complex. You need a permanent/temporary membership of the Complex to use the pool. Temporary memberships available based on a monthly lottery. Decent water quality. Separate changing rooms for men, women and toddlers.
Make sure to take care of your belongings. My wife left her purse in the changing area. Inside it was a smaller wallet with only 200/- in it. She carried only 200/-. When she came back and checked her wallet, the cash was stolen. She made sure not to carry any other valuables but didn’t imagine someone would steal 200/-. That was weird.
Now coming to the pool. Pool is really big. 50 metres length. It’s depth is same throughout though. Good for practice. A bit dirty though. It’s not a great swimming pool but it’s the only 50 metres long pool apart from Talkatora that I know of in Delhi. And anybody can go there, even non members. Guest entry costs 157/- per person for an hour as of August 2018.
